The Story behind the Asam Family of the Bavarian Inn
Three years ago David and Christian Asam set off on a journey to document their family history; the story of two hard working immigrants who began the Bavarian Inn and started the Asam Families legacy in America. Writers were hired, hours of stories were recorded, and hundreds of photos were gathered and organized. “We did not know what the end result of this work would look like, we just knew it was important to us and to future generations of the Asam Family to have the stories of Carol and Erwin saved and documented before this important information was forgotten or lost.” said David Asam.
The end result is a book titled “A Vision of Life, Love and Legacy, The story behind the Asam Family of the Bavarian Inn. “We are confident that friends, family and guests of the Inn will find the stories inspiring and will enjoy the photos that document the 80 plus year journey of the Asams and the 43 year progression of the Bavarian Inn” said Christian Asam.
